peaceful place to visit, even when it's closed people go a jog there. Take walks... Very nice.
Quite,peaceful...I travel from San Antonio very often to tend to my pilgrimages that I have made . I meditate and leave there with no worries. It is an awesome feeling when your there and when you leave feeling at peace with yourself.
I LOVE THIS CHURCH. EVERYTIME I ENTER IT I FEEL GODS PRESENTS AND IT BRINGS JOY AND SORROW IN MY HEART. SORROW BECAUSE I THINK OF THE LOST SOULS IN THE WORLD NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE MISSING. BUT, I KNOW GOD WILL COME TO THEM WITH OUR PRAYERS. OUR LADY OF SAN JUAN IS BEAUITFULLY DISIGN ESPECIALLY THE EXTERIOR.THIS PLACE HAS GREAT MEMORIES OF MY DAD AND MY GRANDMOTHER. BOTH OF THEM ARE NOT HEAR ANYMORE. BUT, THERE MEMORIES ARE IN THIS BEAUTIFUL CHURCH.
Beatiful and so peaceful. I love to just sit a watch people walk the stations of the cross. The Spanish services are AWESOME especially with mariachis
I wish I could give a zero. Priest constantly going don't be stingy or my personal favorite, this past weekend, after saying the hail Mary, "don't be tight wads". People got up and left. This is why people are leaving the Catholic church. Not to mention how I got judged horribly at confession bc it had been a while since I went to Church (a year and a half ago), I never walked out of confession feeling worse, or judged, than when I walked in. I sobbed hysterically in the parking lot for 30 minutes before I could even drive. But this "tight wads" garbage was just over the top. I will never come to mass here again unless I am desperate and My local church doesn't have a mass at a time I can go. Beyond disgusted.
